Connections Ministry
Connections Ministry seeks to provide spiritual opportunities, attend to others’ needs, tell of God’s love and help each other travel down life’s faith path. This ministry helps people get connected by creating community (small) groups, hosting social groups, leading Bible studies and providing other opportunities.
Bible Studies
Lifelight Bible Study - Resumes Sunday, Sept. 12
Sundays from 9:20-10:20 a.m. in rooms 131-133
An in-depth journey through the Bible using materials from the Lifelight series. Childcare is provided.
Adult Bible Study - - Resumes Sunday, Sept. 12
Sundays from 9:10-10:10 and 10:15-11:15 a.m. in rooms 135-137
Beginning Sunday, Sept 12, we will study “With all Your Heart” by Ray Vander Laan for six weeks. This DVD looks at the archeology, cultural and history of the exodus of the Hebrew people. Childcare is provided. Class leader is Dan Snyder.
Women’s Bible Connections
Preview night for fall offerings: Monday, Sept. 13
at 9:30 a.m. or 6:30 p.m.
Joins us for a "girls" time out starting with our preview night. We will see a snippet of what each breakout group will be studying and discussing. Invite your friends!
Connect with other faith-filled women on Monday mornings or evenings for devotions, fellowship and Bible studies.

Tuesdays, from 2:30-4 p.m. (Bible study from 3-4 p.m.)
You are invited to gather for coffee before heading to a Bible study on the book of Job led by Pastor Robarge.

This fun, ongoing group starts Wednesday, Sept. 8 to study various subjects. Feel free to join them at any time..
Men’s Bible Study
Thursdays at 6:30 a.m. in room 128
Don't let the early morning hour scare you away. There is lots of coffee and great discussion and study centering on the Gospel of John that will keep you awake throughout the morning.

LWML - Women on a Mission

Gloria Dei Quilters
Quilting Planning Day

All ladies and friends of Gloria Dei!
It is once again time to begin organizing the Gloria Quilters for another year of sharing Christ's love for us through the making and distributing of quilts for 2011. We will have a quilting planning day on Saturday, Sept. 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is open to all ladies of Gloria Dei and the community. You may come with a project of your own to work on and any and all ideas you may have for the group. Options to be discussed at 10 a.m. will include: Where will our next cache of quilts go? When will we meet? Is it possible to have a week-day as well as a Saturday work day each month?

Scrapbook Fellowship

Scrapbook Fellowship is open to anyone who wants to dedicate time to organize and assemble their pictures into scrapbooks (even digital.) For more information about this fun activity, contact Deb Kesse at 251-8324.

Recycled Christmas Cards
The Honduras Mission team needs recycled fronts of religious Christmas cards for their mission trip to Honduras. Please save your cards and put them in the "donation-card" box located in the narthex. Thank you for your assistance!
