VIDEO Capability!
We have been blessed to get an in-depth view of Luke 15 and have resolved to remember that both sons were lost. But the pinnacle of the parable centers on the father's heart and how he longs to have a relationship with both sons. So, continue some time and reflect on the reckless grace of our God.

The Artist and Painting
Throughout “The Prodigal God” message series, a video of William Butler, a local artist, was shown. Butler began with a blank canvas and worked on various visual representations paralleling each week’s message. The blank canvas, similar to our lives, is defined by the splats that oftentimes stain, mar and shape us. And somehow through all the chaotic strokes of life, a new painting emerges, which is more brilliant than its darker underpaintings and more beautiful than its stark beginnings. Looking at the painting, we begin to see the force behind it all, the master painter, who takes our lives from nothing and creates a masterpiece that reflects his grace and mercy.
“It was a unique project for me,” said Butler. “I usually partner with churches live during their worship services and communicate visually on a canvas what is verbally being presented. But the video-taping was a blessing as we saw God at work. I pray that the painting will be a constant reminder of our God, whose grace is reckless and whose love is never ending.”
The painting will be permanently displayed at the church as a constant reminder of God’s reckless grace.
