God’s Amazing Creation for Preschoolers

Each day preschoolers will discover God's amazing creation. Children will experience the world through hands-on activities. The days will be filled with scientific facts according to God's Word, as well as lots of messy, gooey, amazing science labs conducted by preschoolers! Each day is unique.

Gadgets and Gears Camp for Preschoolers

Preschool children ages 3-5 will explore all types of gadgets and gears and how things work. They’ll see, touch, read about and play with mechanical devices, all the while remembering that the science behind gadgets and gears comes from God.

Date: Monday, June 28-Thursday, July 1 Time: 9-11:30 a.m.
Ages: 3-5 years old Cost: $60

Fine Arts Camp

Children will have the opportunity to discover some of the finer arts during this unique camp. Each day preschool children will create and experience art in a new way through hands-on (and maybe even toes-on) activities. Preschoolers will learn about colors, textures and patterns, while putting their creative minds and bodies to work through play.

God’s Little Princesses Camp

Preschool girls ages 3-5 are invited to take part in this royal camp. Little princesses will explore the life of a princess through activities and stories. Each day will focus on being God’s princess, one of royal birth, chosen by him. This camp will encourage good manners; girls will learn a new princess manner and put it to use each day. On Thursday, parents are invited to join the girls for a tea, celebrating our week together.

Creatures in My Backyard-Kindermusik

This camp, for ages 18 months to 3 years, helps families discover a great big world in their own backyard! 5 sessions

Confetti Days - Kindermusik

Parent and child are introduced to many pretend friends through music, movement, dance, storytelling and instruments. 5 sessions.

Peak-A-Boo, I Love You - Kindermusik

Through music, movement, and laughter parent and baby can enjoy spending time together. This session will tickle your toes! 5 sessions

Ages: Newborn-18 months Cost $65

Young Child - Semester 2 - Kindermusik

Continuation of semester curriculum. Children will finish their Kindermusik semester in this class. 4 sessions

Students will have the opportunity to discover some of the finer arts during this unique camp. Each day students will learn and experience art in a new way through hands-on activities. It's not all lines and art, time will be spent getting to know one another and making new friends. Families are invited to the Art Show at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 24.

Each day campers will discover God's awesome creation. The days will be filled with scientific facts according to God's Word, discoveries, and lots of hands-on science labs and science experiments that show God's awesome power in creation. Even though God is so big, he's interested in the smallest details. Nothing escapes his attention.

Students wil have the opportunity to explore all types of gadgets and gears to learn how things work. They’ll see, touch, read about and play with all types of gadgets and gears, while remembering that God is behind everything that moves.

Little Girls in “Her” Story Camp

Little Girls in “Her” Story Camp brings history to life for girls in completed grades K-1. Each day girls will experience a major American time period through hands-on activities. The days will be filled with fun and learning within a Christian setting. There is no camper limit; the camp will be staffed according to enrollment

Girls in “Her” Story Camp

Girls in “Her” Story Camp brings history to life for girls in completed grades 2-3. Each day girls will experience a major American time period through hands-on activities. The days will be filled with fun and learning within a Christian setting. Campers staying all day will need to bring a sack lunch and drink to camp. There is no camper limit; the camp will be staffed according to enrollment.

Next Generation Girls in “Her” Story Camp

Next Generaion Girls in “Her” Story Camp brings history to life for girls in completed grades 4-5. Each day girls will experience a major American time period through hands-on activities. The days will be filled with fun and learning within a Christian setting. Campers staying all day will need to bring a sack lunch and drink to camp. Limited to 10 campers.

Date: Monday, July 12-Friday, July 16 Time: 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Ages: Completed grades 4-5 Cost: $160

Beginning Dance for Preschoolers*
Preschoolers can experience dance in a non-threatening way and in a small environment! This fun class will allow your child to dance and learn some basic ballet and tap movements with a performance at the end of the session. Space limited to 12 dancers.

Date: Mondays, June 7-July 26 Time: 6-6:45 p.m.
Ages: Preschool age 3-5 years old Cost: $85

Creative Dance*

Children ages 6-10 can explore the world of creative dance in this fun, non-threatening, and unique class. Children will learn basic ballet, tap and dance movements and put them to practice with Christian music. A performance will be held at the end of the session. Space limited to 12 dancers.

Ages: 6-10 years old Cost: $85

Jazz Dance*
Students will work on jazz skills. Friends and family are invited to the performance at the end of the summer.

Date: Tuesdays, June 8-July 27 Date: 6:15-7 p.m.
Ages: 7-10 years old Cost: $85

*Clothes to wear for all three classes: Girl dancers need black ballet leotard and pink tights. Boy dancers need black shorts, white t-shirt (no writing or graphics) and light-weight socks. Shoes for Beginning and Creative Dance: Leather dance shoes and tap shoes. Shoes for Jazz Dance: Jazz shoes can be ordered through Gloria Dei, call DeAnn Mc Cue at 278-5544, ext. 207 for more information.

Beginning Tumbling
Students will work on flexibility, balance, coordination and basic tumbling tricks. Students should wear comfortable shorts and t-shirts. Limit of 5 children.

Date: Tuesdays, June 8-July 27 Time: 5:45-6:15 p.m.
Ages: 5-6 years old Cost: $70

Intermediate Tumbling
Students will work on tumbling skills and tricks, as well as strength and conditioning. Children should wear comfortable shorts and t-shirts. No performance but family and friends may observe the last class to see what the students have been learning.

Mommy and Me Movement and Tumbling
Come move and play with your little one through interactive songs, motor skill development and beginning tumbling skills. Students should wear comfortable shorts and t-shirts. Limit of 6 children.

Summer Vacation Bible School
At Planet Zoom kids will discover a whole new world where little is BIG! Kids will have a blast as they discover a place where boldbee-lievers ZIP, ZAP AND ZOOM for Jesus.

Ages: Open to any child age 3-grade 5 Cost: Suggested donation

Summer Grace Place
Join us for summer’s Sonshine as we take time to learn about the Savior who lights our world. We will have hands-on learning, crafts and may even venture outdoors for some real sunshine.

Date: Weekends in June and July
Time: Saturdays, 5:50 p.m., Sundays, 9:20 a.m. and 10:50 a.m.
Ages: 3 years old-grade 5 Cost: No cost

Summer Reading Club
Join the Summer Reading Club and earn cool prizes as you read your way through the summer months. Summer Reading Club is free. Register at the library starting May 1.

Lutheran Day at Adventureland
Bring your family and enjoy a day at Adventureland Park in Altoona for Lutheran's Day. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance of Adventureland Park.
