New Family Check-in System
In Children's Ministry at Gloria Dei we take the safety and security of your child very seriously. To aid in implementing a new check in/security system for Grace Place and Faith Alive, please do the following steps:
1. Today: Register your children today by clicking here.
2. Grace Place and Faith Alive: Sign in your children before worship at the Children's Ministry kiosk. (You do not have to accompany your children during the dismissal from worship, if you have already signed them in.)
3. Pick up your children by signing them out at the kiosk. |

Grace Place: Weekends
Saturdays from 5:50-6:30 p.m. and Sundays from 9:20-10 a.m. and 10:50-11:30 a.m.
Preschool (ages 2-5) and Elementary Children (K-5)
Grace Place offers age-appropriate educational opportunities for children ages 2 through grade 5. Families are welcome to worship together before children are excused for Grace Place, or families can take their children to the individual classrooms. Register your children today by clicking here. Faith Alive for Preschool (ages 2-5) and Elementary Children (K-5)
Wednesdays from 6-7:15 p.m.
Families can begin the evening worshipping together in the Sanctuary at 6 p.m. Children ages 2 through grade 5 will then head to their specific classes where they will experience music, play, story reading, crafts and Bible-based lessons.

Faith Alive Meals
Wednesdays from 5-5:45 p.m.
Enjoy a meal with the entire family of Gloria Dei. Cost: $5 per adult, $2.50 child or youth (2 years and under eat free).

DivorceCare for Children
Begins Thursday, Feb. 23 from 6:30-8 p.m.
Children whose parents are going through a divorce are invited to DC4K (DivorceCare for Kids) from Feb. 23-March 29. They are also invited to join the Care Night meal at 6 p.m. To register, call the church office at 276-1700 or email Pastor Phillips. |

The Wave for Grades 3-5
Sunday, Feb. 19 from 3-4:30 p.m.
We're going bowling! We'll meet at Merle Hay Lanes inside Merle Hay Mall from 3-4:30 p.m. to bowl a couple of games, eat pizza and have a blast together. Cost is $10 per person to bowl and rent shoes.
GirlZ of Faith for Grades 4 and 5
First and Third Thursday of each month from 6-7:15 p.m.
Girlz of Faith is a group for girls in grades 4 and 5. The monthly meeting will be a time for fellowship, Bible study, crafts, snacks and tons of fun. The group will meet in room 114. Please use the East Entrance.
BoyZ of Faith for Grades 4 and 5
First Sunday of each month from 6-7:15 p.m. - Feb. 5, and Mar. 4, 2012
Boyz of Faith is a group for boys in grades 4 and 5. The monthly meeting will be a time for fellowship, Bible study, a project, snacks and lots of fun! The group will meet in room 114. Please use the East Entrance. |

Family Event
ABC Play with me - Preschool Family Event
Friday, March 30 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Parents and preschoolers are invited to a fun evening of Acting, Bouncing and Creating! We'll play with puppets, dress-up clothes, act in a story, listen to a local author and move and groove to some fun music. This event is sponsored by Tiny Treasures' Preschool and Children's Ministry.

Spring break VBS
Monday, March 19 to Wednesday, March 21 from 9-11:30 a.m.
Join us for 3 days of non-stop fun and learning. At SKY VBS, kids discover that by trusting God, everything is possible. No matter who you are, how you feel, what people do, what happens, or where you are, you can trust God! March 19-21, 9-11:30 a.m. FREE!

Smart Discipline Workshop

This two hour workshop will give parents the tools to overcome child behavior problems and instill respectful and positive attitudes in their children. No cost for this event! Childcare provided free. |

Beginning Dance is a class designed specifically for preschoolers. This 45 minute class is filled with dance movements easy enough for a preschooler to understand. Open to children ages 3-5 (not yet in kindergarten.)
Creative Dance is a ballet and tap class for elementary students in K-5th grade.

Nursery
Our professionally staffed nursery is located below the Sanctuary and is dedicated to providing excellent care for your newborns and children up to 3 years old. The nursery is open on Saturdays from 5:15-6:30 p.m.; Sundays from 7:45 a.m.-12 p.m.; and Wednesdays beginning at 5 p.m.
In addition, the nursery is opened during most adult activities. If you have any questions concerning the hours, please call the church office today. |

New Life Ministry Partners
Gloria Dei seems to be "busting at the seams" with all the new babies. All these new ones mean lots of activity with the New Life Ministry Action Team.
