Tiny Treasures Lutheran Preschool is dedicated to bringing Jesus Christ to preschoolers on the weekdays.

Our licensed preschool is for children ages 3-5 and employs quality teachers and assistants.

Classes begin the day after Labor Day each year and end just before Memorial Day. Sessions are 9-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-3 p.m.

Tiny Treasures reaches almost 120 children each week with the message of "Jesus loves them and takes care of them." This ministry to young families is starting its fifth year. The preschool has completed National Lutheran Schools Accreditation and has been awarded level four of Iowa's Quality Rating System.

2010/11 Classes:

Tiny Treasures Lutheran Preschool is dedicated to bringing Jesus Christ to your preschooler. We are a unique atmosphere that will nurture the spiritual, social, physical, cognitive, and emotional development of your child. A typical day includes: Worship, large-group activities, music, nursery rhyme, snacks, student-centered discovery and experimental centers, large motor play in gym or on new playground, phonics, stories and literacy activities.

3-year olds: Must be 3 by 9/15/10.
3-year-olds morning • $100/mo.
Mon. and Wed. 9-11:30 a.m.

3-year-olds morning • $100/mo.
Tues. and Thurs. 9-11:30 a.m.

3-year-olds morning • $140/mo.
Tues., Thurs. and Friday 9-11:30 a.m.

4-year olds: Must be 4 by 9/15/10.
4-year-olds morning • $140/mo.
Mon., Wed., Fri. 9-11:30 a.m.

4-year-olds afternoon • $140/mo.
Mon., Wed., Fri. 12:30--3 p.m.

PreK’s: Must be 4 by 9/15/10 and going to school in the fall of 2011.
Prekindergarten morning • $195/mo.
Mon.- Fri. 9-11:30 a.m.

Prekindergarten afternoon • $195/mo.
Mon.- Fri. 12:30-3 p.m.

Please note: All prekindergarten children must be 4 years old by 9/15/2009 and going to school in the fall of 2010.

A non-refundable registration fee of $45 is due at the time of registration. Please register soon as class sizes are limited. Tiny Treasures Lutheran Preschool admits students of any race, color, and national ethnic origin. The benefits of our preschool are:

Soles for Souls in Haiti

Thank you so much to all of you who have donated used shoes to send to Haiti.  We have collected over 100 pairs of shoes that I will be delivering to the collection site this week.

Campbell's Labels for Education

Put the Soup On!

As cold weather arrives, and the soup heats up, remember Tiny Treasures and clip the small, colored stamp and UPC symbol on the can or box items. After you enjoy delicious soup and other Campbell foods put your redemption coupons in the Campbell soup display located in the narthex or drop off at the Tiny Treasures office. When we redeem the coupons we are given the opportunity to purchase items for the preschool.  Thank you.

Online Tuition Payment Options Now Available

In a response to inquiries about paying online, Gloria Dei now has the capabilities of using a secure online payment process for online giving donations, missions, building fees; and fees associated with our preschool, Kindermusik, summer camps, dance classes, and other seasonal events. In addition, confirmation, youth gatherings, and mission trips fees can now be paid online by using debit cards, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and online pay-by-check.

Tiny Treasures Receives Accreditation!

A formal presentation of The National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA) of Tiny Treasures was held in the Sanctuary Thursday, Sept. 24. This high honor signifies Tiny Treasures fulfilled the strict NLSA standards and links the preschool to nearly 700 Lutheran schools. Rev. Robert Riggert from Iowa District West presented the certificate. “We are so excited and we celebrate how Tiny Treasures is an excellent place for children and families to grow and learn about Jesus,” said Rev. Riggert.

Quality Rating

Tiny Treasures Lutheran Preschool has been awarded the Quality Rating System Level Four from the State of Iowa. The five-level system was developed to encourage centers to work to improve to the highest quality. All of the levels are above the basic licensing requirements. Level four requires additional education, experience, training, health and safety compliance and work with parents. The award comes with an achievement bonus of $2,400. Congratulations to all who have worked very hard to achieve this new mark of quality.
