Our Mission

Our youth ministry is on a mission, so we will follow the GYM (Grow, Yield, Minister) acronym:

Grow in our relationship with God and others,
Yield to Jesus as Lord and Savior and
Minister to others through outreach and service.

Grades 6-12 are encouraged to join us for events that are geared toward connecting teenagers to the love of God. On Wednesdays, join us as we praise God together through music, Confirmation and The Point. On Sunday mornings, we come together for high school small groups and Castaway. Spring break Schedule
Castaway, Senior Bible Study will not be held March 14 and 21.
Confirmation and the Point will not be held March 17.

Dinner Theater
Rehearsals:

30 Hour Famine
This event held April 9-10, 2010 helps us to understand the plight of hunger in the world. Registration is required; register today to receive your packet. The deadline to register is Wednesday, March 10.
A mandatory informational meeting for youth and parents will be held Wednesday, March 10 from 7:10-7:30 p.m. in the Youth Center.

Omaha Urban Plunge - March 26-28
Grades 8-12: Sign-up on the youth bulletin board and fill out the forms located next to the sign-up sheet. Turn forms into Tim by March 10. Senior high students may also sign-up by filling out the form and bringing in $50.

Rock & Worship Roadshow
Join us for the Rock & Worship Roadshow, Saturday, March 20 at 6 p.m. at the Mid-America Center, Council Bluffs, Iowa. The cost is $10 at the door and features MercyMe, David Crowder Band, Family Force 5, Francesca Battistelli, Fee, Remedy Drive and Sidewalk Prophets. A sign-up sheet is on the youth bulletin board. Meet at church at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 20. We will return to church around midnight.

Sunday mornings - Senior High Bible Study
Sundays from 9-10 a.m. in room 114.
Kim Phillips will teach this study that revolves around the Prodigal God message series. Lively discussions and homemade treats are enjoyed each week!

Wednesday evenings - The Point
Join us Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. in the Youth Center.

Online Tuition Payment Options Now Available

In a response to inquiries about paying online, Gloria Dei now has the capabilities of using a secure online payment process for online giving donations, missions, building fees; and fees associated with our preschool, Kindermusik, summer camps, dance classes, and other seasonal events. In addition, confirmation, youth gatherings, and mission trips fees can now be paid online by using debit cards, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and online pay-by-check.

The process is easy and secure.
All you need to do is to Click here to access the online giving or online payment options. This takes you to Vanco’s secure Web site, the same provider of our Simply Giving electronic funds transfer program.
